Heavens were originally closer to the earth
A legend
John Williams, the well known missionary, tells us that, according to one of the ancient traditions of the islanders of the South Seas, “the heavens were originally so close to the earth that men could not walk, but were compelled to crawl” under them. “This was found a very serious evil; but at length an individual conceived the sublime idea of elevating the heavens to a more convenient height. For this purpose he put forth his utmost energy, and by the first effort raised them to the top of a tender plant called teve, about four feet high. There he deposited them until he was refreshed, when, by a second effort, he lifted them to the height of a tree called Kauariki, which is as large as the sycamore. By the third attempt he carried them to the summits of the mountains; and after a long interval of repose, and by a most prodigious effort, he elevated them to their present situation.”
In the Polynesian story the heavens and earth are said to have been “bound together with cords,” and the “severing” of these cords is said to have been effected by myriads of “dragon-flies,” which, with their “wings,” bore an important share in the great work.
To maintain the union between heaven and earth, and to keep it as close as possible, must have been the grand aim of all who loved God and the best interests of the human race. But this implied the restraining and discountenancing of all vice and all those “pleasures of sin,” after which the natural mind, unrenewed and unsanctified, continually pants. This must have been secretly felt by every unholy mind as a state of insufferable bondage. “The carnal mind is enmity against God,” is “not subject to His law,” neither indeed is “able to be” so. It says to the Almighty, “Depart from us, for we desire not the knowledge of Thy ways.”
So long as the influence of the great father of the new world was in the ascendant, while his maxims were regarded, and a holy atmosphere surrounded the world, no wonder that those who were alienated from God and godliness, felt heaven and its influence and authority to be intolerably near, and that in such circumstances they “could not walk,” but only “crawl,”–that is, that they had no freedom to “walk after the sight of their own eyes and the imaginations of their own hearts.” From this bondage Nimrod emancipated them. By the apostacy he introduced, by the free life he developed among those who rallied around him, and by separating them from the holy influences that had previously less or more controlled them, he helped them to put God and the strict spirituality of His law at a distance, and thus he became the “Elevator of the heavens,” making men feel and act as if heaven were afar off from earth, and as if either the God of heaven “could not see through the dark cloud,” or did not regard with displeasure the breakers of His laws. Then all such would feel that they could breathe freely, and that now they could walk at liberty. For this, such men could not but regard Nimrod as a high benefactor.

All over the world legends of a rebellion against the heavens authority can be found. They talk about a certain event which shook the former godly rulership.
Why are the nations agitated
And the peoples muttering an empty thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand
And high officials gather together as one
Against Jehovah and against his anointed one.
They say: “Let us tear off their shackles
And throw off their ropes!”
(Psalms 2:1-3)
Something went wrong
After the rebellion the one language all humanity spoke was divided into many. This was a time of great confusion. And the life span shortened from 900 years to only 100. This happened so fast, that Shem the son of Noah survived all his descendants till to Jacob. Therefore Shem was called the “sad god” in mythology. Shem contributed for sure to the “holy atmosphere” under which other people was not able to live sin freely without to be bitten by conscience. At these times the conscience was stronger, maybe due the fact that the “new world” after the great flood started with a small family of eight members. For a short time there was a “golden age“, peace and wellbeing. But Ham descendants was cursed because of his shameless act against Noah. They wished to destroy the “holy atmosphere” and rule for themselves onto all their brother and sisters. In order to be able to do this they needed establish a false religion.
What has all this to do with science?
All what we see here is a war that is fought out on a spiritual level. Our mind generates physical reality and it’s responsible for our physical health. The life span depends on our inner world as also on “outer influences“. Every thought creates a morphic field. By repeating this thought or a similar thought, the morphic field becomes stronger. If many people have the same thought, the morphic field becomes stable and influence the thoughts of other people. This invisible fields eventually become so strong that they can be regarded as the “prevalent spirit of this world“. Once the prevalent spirit was that of the “holy mens” and there was no war and no crime. But after the rebellion of Nimrod the spirit changed. We experience now a influence in this world, a dark evil spirit which was nurtured and given to birth by a few men in a ancient world.
If you have difficulties in believing this, then make a research on your own. Try to see how the “kings of this world” achieved their power. They use propaganda, a technique which influence the mind by repeating the same old lie again and again, or they introduce their ideas in a subtle way with techniques called “predictive programming“. This world is ruled by Satan, a coward being living in a non physical realm of existence.
In war what is most important is information. Intelligence agencies tries to achieve information about the enemy and it’s territory in order to achieve advantages. But in spiritual warfare things are a little bit different. By the sacrifice of our King Jesus we are able now to receive his holy influence directly and this is the biggest advantage we have. The world may put all his efforts in manipulating the masses, exposing his desperation and fear by wasting huge amounts of resources, time, energy and money, … but at the end the world will receive a “new spirit” which will make it impossible for the wicked one to walk upright for all eternity. Heavens will come closer again to earth.
